What Pouch Thickness Can It Use?

This machine laminates using 80, 125, 175 and 250 micron pouches, with a maximum pouch thickness of 250 micron per side, or 500 micron total. It is suitable for standard A3 laminating pouches, A4 laminating pouches and smaller pouch sizes used within the A3 feed width.

Important Laminating Advice

This machine is not suitable for use with any form of pouch carrier, including Lifejacket pouch carriers or cardboard carriers. To safely laminate small, multiple items inside a larger pouch, such as flash cards, or odd-shaped items such as stars, speech bubbles or cut-outs, you must use the cleaning card provided with the machine and place the pouch on top of the cleaning card before feeding the whole job through the laminator.

The cleaning card method is also recommended for uneven items such as children’s artwork, collages or mixed-material projects. Using the correct method for these applications helps reduce the risk of pouch jams, poor results or machine damage.
