It is suitable for standard A2 laminating pouches, A3 laminating pouches, A4 laminating pouches and smaller pouch sizes used within the A2 feed width. It can also laminate printed materials up to 3 mm thick when the correct pouch, temperature and speed settings are used.

Important Laminating Advice

The GBC ProSeries 4600 can be used with a pouch carrier for irregular shaped items and non-standard media. For standard A2, A3, A4 and smaller documents in normal laminating pouches, use the appropriate speed and temperature settings for the pouch thickness being used.

If you intend to laminate small, multiple items inside a larger pouch, such as flash cards, or odd-shaped items such as stars, speech bubbles or cut-outs, we recommend using a Lifejacket pouch carrier. A Lifejacket is also recommended for uneven items such as children’s artwork, collages or mixed-material projects.

Using the correct pouch, pouch carrier, temperature and speed setting helps reduce the risk of pouch jams, poor results or machine damage. For thicker or non-standard media, always check the material, pouch thickness and machine settings before running the job.
